Healthy Start Coalition

The Escambia County Healthy Start Coalition, Inc., is a private, non-profit, 501(c) 3 organization funded through the Florida Department of Health’s Healthy Start Initiative, local and national grants, and generous donations from committed, concerned community members. ​ The Escambia County Healthy Start Coalition contracts Care Coordination services with the Department of Health Healthy Start program. Services include help finding a doctor, nutrition education, help with quitting smoking, childbirth classes, breastfeeding support and education, and inter-conception care.
