Motobu, Choyu was the 11th Soke, and; "The last Samurai of the Ryukyu King" This general martial art once known as "ushu-ganashi-mē no bugei", or "his majesty's martial art." Passed on throughout each generation only to the eldest son of the Motobu "aji" family line. Motobu Udundi and utilizes various scaleable methods both armed and unarmed to protect the Ryukyu King. Uehara Seikichi was the 12th Soke of this line and we are proud to continue the tradition of his training under the leadership of his most senior students in Okinawa.
